WHAT TO EXPECT?
Our Bible Study small groups (AKA Sunday School) begin at 9:30 a.m. Most departments start with fellowship and sharing prayer needs, then break into their smaller study groups/classes. We have classes for every age, as well as childcare for infants. Our students (grades 7-12) meet in our Activity Center for Bible Study. The worship service follows at 10:45 a.m. and lasts about an hour.
WHEN SHOULD YOU ARRIVE?
We suggest you arrive about ten minutes before the worship service (or Sunday school class) begins. This will give you plenty of time to find a convenient parking place, check out our children’s ministry area, find a Bible Study class, or just the right seat in the sanctuary.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking is available in lots on the corner of Center Street and 8th street, or Center Street and 7th street, with overflow parking in the rear of facilities.
THEN WHAT?
Greeters at the doors will guide you to those who will help you find a place to sit during worship, a Bible Study class for you and your family, or extended care during worship for your children under four.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
On any given Sunday, you’ll find people wearing a wide variety of clothing from suits to jeans. We look forward to meeting you no matter what you’re wearing!
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At 9:30 a.m. each Sunday, children ages birth – 6th grade are invited to the FBC KidZone for a great time of Bible study, worship, and hands-on activities. Our Nursery is available during small group and the worship service for infants through 3-year-olds. Children 4 years – 2nd grade are encouraged to attend worship with their parents and will be dismissed before the sermon to Children’s Church for age-appropriate bible story and activities. Our facilities are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers, who have undergone a thorough background check.
HOW ABOUT YOUTH?
The Youth Ministry is for students grades 7 – 12. They meet in our Activity Center for Bible study and fellowship each Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 am and on Wednesdays, from 6-7:00 p.m. We focus on teaching them leadership principles and biblical truths to be better followers of Christ.
HOW CAN I MEET PEOPLE IN MY STAGE OF LIFE?
Small group Bible study options are available at 9:30 a.m. to help you connect with people your age, children’s ages, or interest. Bible study options are also available for youth, children, and preschoolers. The Church is not a building, it is people. We are the church with opportunities to stay connected. Groups create a community, which allows our family of choice to feel connected throughout the week.
WHAT WILL WORSHIP BE LIKE?
Our worship blends traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. All song choices are designed to focus our attention and total praise on God. Messages from our pastor, Andrew Malone, are biblically-based and applicable to everyday life.
